Due to breaking up with ex all my mail was going to her place, therefore I wasnt receiving it and didnt know that my insurance was due, so long story short, I wasnt insured (yes I know dont need lectures on it lol) live n learn.Anyways, due to this, I was forced into making a decision, cut my losses and move on or do what not many people have done, build from scratch. So we decided to take the challenge and build from ground up, which was a realistic idea considering most of car was salvagable a part from front end gear (guards, bumper, bonnet, intercooler, radiator, air condensor etc), engine not touched.I purchased an empty bf shell and got to work. We stripped the falcon and got it out of yard, we then built the car from ground up, interior, running gear, put all the looms from old one into new one, exterior, then came the engine and gearbox.Basically the car is completely built and SHOULD be running, but isnt and after racking brains for last few weeks its really getting to me that its so close yet so far so im here for help. I have electrics, have dash lights, icc says "code", headlights and stuff, but car wont turn over at all.Now remembering back, when we did the gearbox and were doing the 4 internal bolts through the little spy plate, we would do one up, manually turn it to the next one but turning it for the last bolt the motor wouldnt turn anymore so we left it for time being thinking it was compression, but we had 2 extension bars on with a breaker bar and could not manually turn the motor, could compression get this hard or is it possible something is jammed in the gearbox/motor?This is the only thing can think of left that may be stopping the motor from turning over a part from electrics/wiring problem somewhere.Anybody think of anything or provide any info it would be HUGELY appreciated, also would a mechanic/tuner take car off hands and diagnose it/get it running for a decent price or not knowing what the details are would they not touch it?Cheers GuysAz

So if u have not had that reset from ford I believe that's going to be an issue there Next with the btr even if u didnt get the stall on to the input shaft right it " should " beable to turn still First things first get a braker bar and rotate the donk froom the harmonic balancer lowest big pulley on the front of the donk do this with the stall unbolted so your essentiall free turning the donk seen cars thst have had impacts and the crank has bentUnlikely as u said its untouched but just eliminate the donk and then get to the auto

Azid Member 213 Member For: 13y 3m 8d Posted 25/08/12 02:07 AM Author Share Posted 25/08/12 02:07 AM (edited) jetsnot - We were manually turning it via the harmonic balancer at first when we were doing the 4 internal gearbox bolts, we got 3 bolted and after the 3rd bolt was done up that's when we couldnt manually turn it anymore from the harmonic with a breaker bar.Even if the electronic fuel pump cut off has been activated, the engine should still turn shouldnt it? Just like a car would if it was out of fuel?Bionic - yeh swapped ignition barrel, swapped the whole dash and wiring every single thing that was in old car is in new one. Which is the immobilier light? I thought immobilisor but wasnt sure how to find out for sure or how to fix?
