When my car was standard with just a tune I barely noticed the difference the standard and Monza. If you got a standard cooler cheap enough I wouldn't bother paying the extra for the Monza IMO. The car still had bad heat soak regardless.

I've still got my stocker at home you can have for $50.

cheers fellas, I would like to do some minor mods, so I think my best bet is to keep an eye out on ebay etc for something a bit better.

thought about this also, but I can get my hands on an F6 cooler for $200. Not 100% sure whether or not it's a worthy upgrade, or if it'll make any difference at all to a stock car. But it's pretty cheap.

Im pretty sure F6 cooler is taller and maybe wider but thinner than the xr cooler so the gain is only fractional. All depends on goals etc, when and how you drive as to whether its worth just spending the money on a good cooler or not
