Don't piggy back off anything.You can then hook a relay up to a switched source and hook it up to the pos between the CB and battery.That way it will turn on and off with the key. There is a rubber grommet you can run the cables though next to the brake master cylinder. Usually your clutch master will sit there if manual. You can run the pos and neg wires though that. Then cable tie a relay above the pedals somewhere and run the switched source from the fuse box under the steering wheel. You can use a multimeter to find a switched source and just jam the wire in with the fuse from behind.
