Gday,

Im driving from perth to adelaide shortly in my 330rwkw f6, im not sure what fuel will be available at the servo's on the way.. will I be fine?

I know im meant to use 98 octane but I assume that these stations wont have that.

I was thinking of taking a few jerry cans and adding 20 litres of 98octane each time I fill up (presuming they only have 91 or 95octane.. or is that a stupid idea?

Cheers!

Nullabor road house was the only place that I had to detune to 95 for. Had a couple of Jerry's too for piece of mind. Every where else I got 98. That was 3 years ago though.

Just wonder if anyone knew. If you were just cruising on the highway and didn't really sink your boot in would there be any harm in running 95 while still on the 98 tune?

Also what's the speed limit on the Nullabor?

The ECU has a learning function, so if it detects small amounts of knock it will retard the timing to protect the motor.

As long as you aren't laying into it then you should be fine

Think speed limit is 110, fastest you can go legally

Once you cross the SA border, your 330rwkw F6 is gonna have 560rwkw
