Hey guys I've recently just bought a g6e turbo and love the car, but after a decent drive when I pull up and reverse in my driveway it seems to start ticking can only here the ticking from the inside of the car , if I hop out the car can't hear the tick at all , is this something to be worried about or am I just stressing for no reason

mine ticks when the heater is on also. why does it do it?

Could be a leaf or something in there but I think the bearing (for the fan) in mine is on its way out, haven't dug that far yet

Cheers for the comments

It's got plenty of fuel, heater is off And yes sounds deep in the dash

Opened the bonnet and idler pulley sounds like its just about rooted could this cause the ticking that sounds deep in the dash

Only other things I could think of we're small exhaust leak either way it's going back to ford any other problems I should watch out for the car has 55000km on it
