Guys,

I just had new xforce 4" all the way through put on.

Car is bit grumpy about it.

I'm a newbie to modding cars so can someone explain what is happening, what the solution is and idea of cost. ?

I'm Sydney based if contacts are recommended.

Thanks for your help.

Any exhaust changes after the turbo will need a retune. You car would be overboosting. The limp mode would be boost cut.

you need to get it to a tuner asap and drive off boost in the meantime.

Can't believe they didn't advise you. Did you get the full 4" system or 4" dump/cat into 3.5" rear?

Even with a tune you might need to do the wastegate mod(makes the wastegate port larger to allow the ECU to bypass more exhaust gases and control boost easier) as FGs can have boost control issues with the bigger dump and high flow cat.

See a recommended tuner in your area, they will help with costs.

Full 4". Will book in tune ASAP.

Just don't let those two words " in tune " have anything to do with your tuning! Research and find a good tuner!!!! Plenty of reputable tuners in Sydney! Except for the above mentioned one :/
