Had my fg xr6t manual tuned on fri. Made 296rwkw with injectors growler pipe kit and hi flo cat.

Anyone know what sort of torque would now be making. The tuner said he would give me torque graph but didn't. After he got my money he really didn't want to help much at all

Really hard to say mate, have a read through the 300 thread and see what other people get, but everyone's different. Some have come out with 700nm or so (Which is about what most get) others have like 800, 900 + with 300rwkw. Did he give you any print outs at all?

Also do you know what boost your running because id say that'll make a difference too

Yeh got power printout. He said would run 18 psi when I was organizing the work. When I picked up the car was late in the day he sorta pushed me out the door. I've sent some emails but haven't heard back as yet.

The car is a beast now though I'm very happy with performance although does have traction issues!! Especially in the cold nights , makes for good fun

296rwkw doesn' t sound like a lot if your pushing 18psi. A lot of guys are getting 300rwkw with 16 or less and same mods. Scan your power print out if you can for some of the guys who know a bit more and then can check it out. I think most power graphs have torque on there aswell?

Congrats though on the new found power!

Ps on a side note did you tuner recommend a new cooler or at least cooler pipes with the tune because I heard the FG cooler pipes can't handle that kind of pressure and crack.

torque is hard to measure on a chassis dyno, and often not accurate, as it measures tractive effort, rather than torque. a torque reading is just a tuning tool in this application just like rwkw...

an engine dyno is much more accurate.

Actually, dyno's measure torque not power, they measure torque on a torque arm and then use maths to calculate the power output, but they do not measure engine torque.

But then you have to consider if you have 800nm of torque that's not what the engine has, as the gear box and diff acts as a torque muliplier. you may only have 600NM at the engine.
