I myself wanted to wait for a series 2, after reading about all the problems associated with the T, but most site members don't have any problems and those that had problems, were being rectified by dealership warranties. I am now thinking of getting a low mileage T, saving $10k.... and fitting a chip and exhaust kit with the money saved. As the dealer said....there were problems early in the release but most have been fixed on assembly line. Guest NUMB Guests Posted 27/12/03 01:54 AM Share Posted 27/12/03 01:54 AM awesome I'm going in to order mine today in that case! When ordering I will stipulate that if it is a lemon I will be ploughing the T through the showroom window and swapping it for a GT-P *lol*I was only concerned because obviously the series II will hold its value more than a series I... but im not waiting a year for my car Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8144-series-ii/#findComment-76751 Share on other sites

brendan24688 Member 38 Member For: 21y 5m 26d Posted 27/12/03 07:18 AM Share Posted 27/12/03 07:18 AM Well I would say that they are going to have a series II. With the sales not looking so good at the end of 2003 I would sauy that they are going to do it wen the territroy is released or around the same time so hopefull y they will ibnsert the 6 speed autos. But I dunt think there will be any major changes. I hpew to see a lil power upgrade to like 200KW just to hopefully stay ahead of Holdens V6. And maybe a lil quicker. Any way I hope to se one. Expensive Daewoo have had an absolute shocker with that model. Ford has done extremely well and the public have shown they love the Ford's. The only people that don't like the BA are those Dickhead Gun Hoe Redneck VB drinkin' Stinkin Expensive Daewoo Supporters that couldn't organise a root in a brothel with a fist full of 50's...Anyway, that's just my 2 cents...P.S. I used to be one of those yobbos but I saw the light.... Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8144-series-ii/#findComment-76824 Share on other sites

I believe you must be referring to the naturally aspirated XR6.....the Turbo produces 240 kw....also I thought sales were good for 2003, considering there is a 2 - 3 month wait for a new XR6T.
