All the Perthies need to get together for a late night weeknight cruise to a particular outer Perth suburb.

Stuff it, let's just get a cement mixer and fill the damn thing with old oil and dump a few thousand litres at once.

Didn't even get to see the Tornado today. Pickles have a company policy that says that all vehicles at Welshpool can only leave on a truck or trailer. They wouldn't let me even push the thing out on to the road so that I could tow it or get a trailer later.

I managed to convince a tow truck driver to put it on the truck, drive 20 metres and then let it off the truck. Haggled him down from $50 to $20. Getting somewhere. And then he changed his mind at the last minute (after keeping me waiting). And then it was closing time at Pickles. Not impressed.

Couple of weeks ago my step son had a daughter

Tonight it was my step daughters turn.

Routine checkup at 5pm turned into a visit to the hospital at 7pm turned into an overnight stay turned into a 1:15am phone call "they're going to do a c-section"

2:40am I got to hold and cut the cord of the newest grand daughter.

Welcome to the world Abby

Talk about a whirlwind

She kept it a total secret until Monday 2 weeks ago when I got called to her doctors office.

Took her for her first proper checkup that night - bub was due Xmas Day.

Friends and family got together last weekend and fully kitted absolutely everything that could possibly be needed - as in EVERYTHING

Was dreading what was to come when I got the call and they had decided to do a c-section with a half hours notice.

Everything was right with the world again when they presented a crying baby girl with 5 fingers, 5 toes and no tail.

Walking beside the crib on the way to the nursery and she opened her eyes - my heart melted.

Almost as much pressure as when my own was born.

Sounds like a great night Fluff.......just one question though -
Was your ring on your finger for the entire night ??

I'm now imagining the boss contacting Jet and offering a million dollars.........hehehe

I never take my ring off don

Fortunately a lot of our conversation was about our children and significant other... He has three gorgeous little girls and a lovely wife and we were sharing some funny family stories.

That and Jet came and picked me up like he always does as he knows my co workers... One of em I am a bit concerned about though coz he wants jets babies... He thinking jets a bit of alright ;)

Congrats Rab :)

Played Cards Against Humanity with some champagne and then beers under my belt. Could hardly breathe at one point, I was laughing so much. BEST f*ckING GAME EVER

Quick idea: all get dealt 10 white answer cards, one black question card is dealt per round. Best answer card wins that round.
