Felt good dismantling the new shifter cable

Is it just me or does the cable tie solution look like it'd hold for a longer period of time? :ermm:

Yeah I commented to the other half as I was snipping them off, that I probably could have left them on and saved the $150 on the new cable...but it looks farking dodgy as to anyone inspecting the car and I'm planning on hitting racewars again next year so...

If it holds for another 250,000km I'll be happy. Might put a leg out of bed before that anyway...
