Had a local guy email me last night asking if I'd take $2,000 for the lot if he grabbed them today. That covers the Shockworks I want for the GT so I'm happy.

Haha sorry buddy. I had posted it up in the WA thread, didn't really get around to posting in any of the national threads. Seriously though, take a look into Shockworks mate...that's what I'll be going with for the GT.

Yeah I definitely will man. Well I've read on two separate occasions that Rob Herrod (from Herrod motorsport) and Simon from nizpro have both said they've tried all the different coilovers for the FG's and there was always something they weren't fully happy with...until they tried the Shockworks. Both companies now recommend and sell the Shockworks kits. The communication I've had with the owner Brett has left me very impressed and excited to try them out. Brett was the guy that Pro Drive contracted in to do the suspension tuning on the GT Rspec, and despite how well he made those cars handle he has told me that Ford gave him certain guidelines he had to work within, so he wasn't able to do a few things he wanted to and get the most out of the chassis...until he started his own company and did a whole heap more testing and refining for his coilovers. This dude knows these chassis better than anyone hey!

Also, I had the EDFC active controller with my Teins...which was a cool novelty, but it wore off quickly and I could imagine it being a pain in the future. It's also rather sensitive to heat and where it's mounted in the engine bay...

To quote Steve "electronics scare me"!

Can AND will ;)

Nearly cracked a 1/2 Mill quote today could only fudge it up to 480K though...

And before a certain bananabender quofs the paltry sum, it aint bad for a bloke who only started in the game 3 months ago and the averages are round the 50K mark.(and who still has NFI what he is doing).

...it'll be another thing if we actually get the job though. :pandalol:
