Hate doing it as it's so farkin uncomfortable, but if someone has taken the time to apply and attend an interview(s) then it's the least you can do. It was only a months worth of guaranteed work.. He was really good but the bloke we chose just appeared to be a better choice.. Before I even got to the part about saying 'Seriously you appear to be an excellent choice and we are currently in with a chance to win these few big projects (Year or more of work) we would like to have you on board for in about 4-6 weeks' he flipped his lid at me about wasting his time..
