I'm gunna have a look at a guitar tomorrow and more than likely buy it. I've been without a guitar for about 7 years so looking forward to getting back into it.

Nice! I just bought an accoustic so I can try to learn.

Would be a relaxing hobby once you know a few things I reckon.

Haha nice.

I made a joke to the wife in an Eric Cartman voice, which my 7 year old decided was hilarious. Now I'm stuck reading the all of the BFG's lines in the BFG with an Eric Cartman voice...

got 2 new pairs of glasses yesterday, both titanium frames so nice and light on the bridge of the nose

but the "pièce de résistance" was a free trial of contacts

I'm in love

a little bit difficult to put in and remove, but I'm sure this will become second nature over time

totally blew my mind that multi-focal contacts would work so well

this will be totally awesome for bike riding, no more getting glasses to fit in my helmet

also excited about being able to buy non prescription sunnies

contacts are great... until they get to the point where you have to take them out and you want to keep them in... and then you have to clean the hell out of them to prevent infections... then you have to get replacement ones far more often than you think is necessary and they cost a decent amount each time... then you fall asleep in them and experience a new level of eyeball uncomfort... etc. :)

I have daily disposables so I don't think it's going to be such an issue

pretty simple to clean with the solution that comes in a squeeze bottle

time will tell

as far as cost goes, I will probably only wear them in the weekend cos my job can be very dusty at times which is no good for contacts

so for my prescription that would be about $250 per year
