I didn’t think dell made good computers coz of the impression I’ve got from our work computers over the last ten years. Or are my company just being tight arses? My old company used nothing but Lenovo computers. I think all computer companies can make good and bad PC's. If your company bought chit, low end models way back when and then they've been abused by lots of tech unsavy people, then chances are they're going to run like balls regardless. My old laptop was a Dell, and it blue-screened on me several times on me during a training course this week (not the most professional look...), but this was more than likely a piece of software or a driver causing the issue, not the computer itself. Had a Dell XPS laptop at home for years and had a couple of issues early on but they replaced parts and it's been rock solid ever since. Edited 05/04/19 08:36 AM by .Stripes. Doesn’t surprise me when it comes to corporate though

To be fair everyone else probably does the basics and it works fine. I set up double monitors and use about a billion things at once etc so I probably find it inadequate compared to what I have at home with my own set up. They are usually short on ram, so that would make things worse if using heavy applications
