What's it worth a litre over there? Considering it's like $2.30+for 98 I would think it would be pretty pricey

I believe 98 is around $1.90 now and E85 is similar if not couple of cents more..

If you live there, why be so vague ?

If 95 is $1:96, then 98 is surely $2+

Diesel in nz is cheap because there is no tax on it. The tax is charged @ a km rate rather than by the litre. You have to purchase km's separately. Works out about the same price depending on how efficient your diesel is
