Serviced my new (but very old) ride on. Picked up the box with the spark plug in it and it fell out the bottom and landed right on the business end.

Attempted re-gapping it with a flat head screw driver. Opted for putting the old plug back in it.

But mowed my entire yard in 2 hours. Which is a 7 hour time saving.

Taping the business end of the plug on the concrete till it looked right is how I used to gap my mowers plugs.

Problem was I over tapped it. And there was no gap.

Lol it actually worked fine until I tried to make the mower move. Just sitting on the driveway it sounded and ran great.
