Type 1 isn't cool. I feel for her. Having to rely on insulin injections would drive me crazy. I've been surrounded by this all my life. You'd think I wouldn't have been so complacent about it.

What kind of fats are you talking about?

A glass of red wine at dinner will do you wonders also :spoton:

Virgin olive oil and flax seed oil. Also fish oil.

I looked up the 8 week blood sugar diet.

At this stage I don't think I need to go that extreme as my sugars are ok and I can lose weight how I've already mentioned.

Also I wont be able to recover from my workouts if I go too low.

Type 1 sucks ass. She has an injection after every meal or snack and has one for over night.

There's another diet he done called the 5 2 diet. Very effective.

They've got this machine thing now that's strapped to you and it injects insulin as your body requires it. Takes the guess work out of it. Still doesn't make it any easier but.

All this talk of eggs and I ended up making myself a bacon and egg sandwich which I haven't had for a long time.

I'm lucky as I had an issue with my blood sugar but that's because I was buying energy drinks by the carton and having junk food multiple times a day along with heaps of highly processed foods.

had an awesome day today, if I can do three jobs like the one I did today I'll be freaking loaded!

I already take a couple of fish oils in the morning. A few more won't hurt I spose.

I've dropped my fats from 90 to 48.

I've got some healthy oils in the cupboard and fridge so I'll focus on those and less on meat and dairy.

I'm going back in a month and also in 3 months so I'll see how it all goes.

@ROB83R I bought $110 worth of tuna from Costco last month. I have been eating one tin of tuna and one tin of beans post workout, so that's every couple of days.

its not the fat intake that is the exact issue. N6 is high in all grain type foods and those foods are what cause cholesterol levels to rise as all those foods lack N3. Both fatty acids are required for the body to function and both counteract one another. The higher the N6 the more N3 you need which is why you should substitute

that graph will give you an idea

there is also a good right up recently on tnation about this also and can be found here:- https://www.t-nation.com/supplements/fish-oil-youre-using-it-wrong

I take anywhere from 4 - 6 1500mg fish oil tablets a day depending on my diet and how many grain varieties im eating.. N3 will also aid in fat burning and joint health

Sounds like the abuse I was subjecting my body to for way too long.
