When I stopped I noticed the smoke, popped the bonnet and got coolant in the face at the same time that I noticed the glowing turbo. I babied it home from there. No heat knocks/rattles or power loss so I think it's all good. If the turbo is broke you can tell my wife that I'm using my 50mm external gate on my next setup.
