Posted 11/07/16 07:06 AM Share Posted 11/07/16 07:06 AM I only saw a TV series from the US called Good Eat's last year, the presenter Alton Brown has a real "dad" sense of humour. It's given me some extra tips on things to try with my cooking though. One thing I love to do, is when staff try drag me in for morning tea on Friday's or cakes etc. is say "I'm watching my figure.....expand" the conflicted looks on their faces are awesome, they have no idea how to respond to that, thanks to stupid political correctness making everyone so antsy about hurting other people's feelings. I would post photo's but our web security appliances block a lot of sites, including Imgur. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/07/08/gun_iphone_airport/ Idiot brings gun-shaped iPhone to airport If only his dad had been firing blanks Cops at Stansted airport in Essex, UK, couldn't believe their eyes when a passenger turned up for a flight with what looked like a gun in his bag. The unnamed pillock had chosen to protect his iPhone with a black case that sported a realistic-looking handgun built into the base. It's difficult to see the attraction of such a gadget, since it makes the phone a pain to use – but presumably it also makes the owner feel like a bit of a pwoppa gangsta. Using this kind of kit in public may mark the owner out as a prat – carrying it into an airport and trying to get it onto a plane certainly seals the deal. If the owner of the case was planning to come to America with his iPhone protector, he may want to think again. US police aren't as restrained as the UK's girls and boys in blue and tend more towards the Shooty McBangbang school of thought. WMMFGT? My son (who's 3.5) calling to tell me his matchbox car mustang has a turbo motor and a wastegate and needs more boost to go faster. We had a brief discussion and decided E85 and more boost was the answer. #thatsmyboy
