Yeah, no I dont have 4 of them. I have one. I have the RX-V2700.

Bloodycrashboy, I was looking closely at your RX-V475 screen and noticed it said server.

How did you get that working and which server do you have it connected too?

You didn't buy the $10000 yamaha music server did you?

I have the RX-V475 plugged into my home network.

I have a home built server running windoze home server 2011 with all my music on that

Edit: click on the "NET" button on the remote and it brings up a list of devices on the network

I've currently got a Yamaha RX-V1600, few years old now but carrying on like a trooper. When I upgrade I'd like to go something like this:

And then get some monoblocks to power everything. Pricey though...

I did the electrical on this company's new building about 13 years ago

not really knowing much but apparently this is the best you can get

back then it was 30k for one amplifier and could pump out some massive power at a true zero harmonic distortion

they had the most swanky building with fancy rooms for testing, their parent company iirc is "Minelab" who develop gold detectors that are typically coupled up with hovercraft style vehicles to cruise the land looking for gold pockets

way above my head but the music they used to play was all classical so boring a I <3 Bananas but interesting

^^^^true that, but if you enjoy instrumental music, it is worth it, assuming you can afford it.

I think there is another brand like nomad (?????) that is the same setup and pricey too.
