Managed to be out the front in my PJ's with coffee in hand in time to see (and HEAR!!) the An-225 fly over head on it's way to Dubai.

 

Those 6 D-18T turbines at climb power.....ohhhhhh my. :wub:  :wwww: :aaggl::leghump::dancing homer:

Lots I'd say. I've seen the 224 a couple of times. It landed in the town I grew up in to deliver a large slew bearing (like 9mtrs Dia) when I was a young kid, and another time was headed to site and we had to wait for it to take off from the Perth Airport.

 

An-225 is next level. Apparently it's coming back several more times in the next 18mths.

what exactly is your point?

 

(hint most airports have more than one flight path)

 

Also: I also live about 20kms from Pearce Airforce Base so Military traffic spotting is also abundant. C-130's and Globemasters :wub:
