We eventually had all the upgrades (NOS, grip, engine etc) which he gets in the PS4 racing games he plays, our cars were the world's best and on all the magazine covers, got paid for photos of our cars as we cruised the race track carpet mat he has. Even ended up with magnetic wheels so we would drive them on the alfresco ceiling when we hopped on top of the spa hard cover, ran over the zombies and hit them into the lava below etc., did jumps at the same time and try to land in the same direction...was really fun having to use my imagination again, and his enthusiasm was irrepressibly infectious.Got a couple of "I love you Uncle Steve you're my best bud" warm and fuzzy moments too. Went along literally just intending it to be a catch up, having only ever known her while she was in a relationship...plus she'd previously said she'd kinda started seeing someone. Both ended up having a really great night and got the text message saying so in the car on the way home.
