Oh and working from home for the next week...pretty happy with my setup. 2x24" monitors, laptop in the dock and no high vis or boots...or pants. Working from home winning!

I Skyped a subbie working from home once.

We cracked up when he appeared really well dressed. But as soon as he stood up to get something he was in jocks.

Landed in Corsica, France, picked up another Ford Fiesta.

As soon as we drove away it felt like it had more grunt than the last one.

Turns out it's a 1000 cc 3 cylinder turbo, and for its size it goes surprisingly well.

Only down side is the gearing, sooooooooooh tall.

Can comfortably cruze at 80 in 3rd (5 speed box)

So we are off for a run from Calvi to Ajaccio (about 2 hours drive) down the west cost of Corsica. ☺

So, our 2 hour drive totalled 8 hours!!!!!

But wow, we were both totally gobsmacked by the rugged scenery.

Not that I want to brag, but I've been to about 50 countries, and never have I seen so much diverse and stunning beauty.

Just about every valley brought back memory's of other countries.

Mexico was on the top of the list but Spain, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland, Arizona (USA) and even Namibia in Africa were all represented in this spectacular little island!

Australia was here as well with some large gum trees scattered along the side of the road.

We did a motorcycle tour of Tasmania in 2012, and it does not even compare.

The roads here are far superior for bikes than Tassie will ever be, oh, and did I mention the scenery?

Had heaps of fun in the 3 cylinder turbo, my wife had to slow me down on a few occasions, but that was a good thing considering the sheer drops into oblivion that some corners offered.

There were a lot of motorcycles on the road, and I was wishing I was on one, but maybe that's another holiday.

Absolutely stunning

Just need a helmet and some riding gear and I'm outa here!
