Hahahah I am adapting

I know within myself I can't hold out for that so why try

I am having cheat days every now and again coz I know psychologically I can't cope with temptation unless I have a treat

I've also decided I am going to just eat healthy and work slow

No point in rushing and then after losing all the weight putting it back on after a months like I did almost exactly 12 months ago... It's not the healthy option for me

12 months ago I had a very hard time in my life and I quit my training and after being stricter than Maxine's I lost 12kg

I put on almost 20 after when I went through a hard time

This time I see no point in fad diets and optifast and broccoli and chicken 2 meals a day..

What I do see is a lifestyle change that has moderation and adaptability

So tonight if I wanna enjoy some wine and crackers then I can but Tomoro morning I will gym and normal and eat veg and fruit and healthy....

That's something I can maintain forever... Not something I will manage for a while... Look amazing and then hate myself for 12 months after coz I get fat coz I'm depressed.

Everyone's different but the beauty of knowing your own psychological state is knowing what's gonna work for u

I to Fluff can't stick to diets. Just don't have the will power. So for me it's about keeping calories in check and getting regular exercise back into my life. As I go I will work on getting cleaner and cleaner with the calories.

Actually what fluff said is the perfect attitude for weight loss.

I have excellent willpower and can cold turkey anything. But my problem is it works until I achieve whatever goal I set myself and then I go back to how it was before.

I actually have great will power, but my problem in the past has been my mental state and having the wrong motivation for losing weight. This time I'm doing it for me and for my health, previously this was never a consideration. I'll also be seeing a dietician as I get closer to my goal so that she can help me transition my diet back to a sustainable, healthy lifestyle once I'm fit, lean and healthy.

So I agree with fluff, it's super important to know your psychological state...coz if you're head's not in whatever you're doing then you'll fail every time.
