Buff... She is a product of two champions... I can't decide wheat her to show or breed her or not ...

She is everything the bulldog standard says ... In terms of show quality... Believe it or not there are only a few colours Bulldogs come in that's acceptable by standard .. Black isn't one of em... They're head size and shape is meticulously judged on both measurements and looks, there is a certain "head" which is the right standard ... The legs and tail have to be of a certain standard... The tail especially... Her chest width in proportion to her height ... Blah blah... There are a fair few breeders of Bulldogs but most don't follow these standards ... Hence where the "Aussie bulldog" breed came about... Along with all that comes health issues and hereditary crap passed on when people then attempt to breed those dogs too... None of em are recognised by the aknc or whatever the dog breeding authority Australia is called...

Hence why she was $4k

Her litter wasn't bred for sale it was bred for both show dogs and a breeding bitch for the breeder ...

There were three pups of the litter and all hand reared in humidity cribs etc...

She chose the widest headed bitch for her breeding programe... And I had first pick of the other two... She said if she picked lilly that she would win shows based on personality and looks hands down

The problem is that I'm not a breeder... And I don't have the facilities or means to breed these dogs ... They're not like Staffies or labs where two dogs fuxk and that's it... All breeds by standard are artificial insemination, and celeriac section majority of the time ... I don't know if I'd wanna risk losing lilly through any complications through that.

She was always intended for a pet but being I want her to lead a full and healthy life all of those factors were very important to me... I don't actually win anything much by showing and I don't wanna risk her getting sick from pregnancy etc and I am not a listed breeder so I think we will just have her desexed ...

Yeah bulldogs have to have Caesarian, not cheap either. Then its fun when the staples pop open and you have to rush them back to the vet to get sewn up. Plus, they will always have saggy boobs after having pups and its ugly
