It is the ultimate in navigating to the start-end of a line or the start-end of a webpage. BTW I think there is some confusion between what I meant as free spinning scroll wheel, you can either set it by application or click it or flick the wheel suddenly to get rid of the ratchet so it literally free-spins. So instead of it scrolling say three lines for each 'notch' it just spins and goes nucking futs. Brilliant for working through large docs etc. where you still need to glance at what's on the page but don't have to spend ages and get RSI continually working the wheel, just let it keep spinning then stop it when you're where you need to be.
