I don't expect a 7-8-9 year to give up a seat for someone in their 50-60.

Keep em out of the way of all the psychos, paedos and pushing and shoving people standing up, they need to be protected. Not gonna hurt a fat middle aged woman to stand up for a bit. I understand if they are old and incapacitated, but other than that first come first served.

If you're handicapped or pregnant or have some other physical requirement to "sit in a seat", then you get priority over a regular able-bodied person. Everybody pays a different rate depending on how far they are travelling and whether or not they have concession, monthly/yearly passes etc.
