Rock up to the airport looking like a hobo, go to line up in the express line for bag drop with all the suits on there morning commute. Get stopped by qantas staff member and directed to the line with about a hunjie people. Tell her "nah, this one will be heaps quicker" and keep walking, the expression on her face was priceless,

Then hit the security check and it's the same thing, express lane. This time the lady stops me and asks for my boarding pass so she can point out that I should be in the massive line on the other side. Explain that I don't have a boarding pass, get chastised, tell her I will be using my frequent flyers gold card as a boarding pass. Priceless expression 2 for the morning, get called sir and walk straight through.

Makes me feel good to see them get up their high horse and then get taken down a peg or two straight after. Getting the "you don't belong here" look always puts a smile on my dial

That's because really you don't belong there :-p

But I know what you mean.. Pluggers, shorts and singlet and for some reason they think you can't be a frequent flyer.

I used to get those looks when I was looking at dealerships for my first xr6t when I was 18... They all look at me thinking is this guy serious? Yes yes I am serious and I'm paying cash *beep*! The joys of still living at home at the time...
