yeah mines a bit of a handful with only 312rwks if you get up it you certainly know about its heaps quicker than stock and gives you quite a rush post up your dyno sheet so people can have a gander

I have a FG XR6T in Very Good Condition and feel the same way as you. My Car Totally stock drove nice, had good low end pull, nice midrange and I thought I could improve on that and make the car really really fast. Dyno Sheets from the tuner show the car is making more power, but how it drives on the road does not feel like 300+rwkw.
After Spending $4300 on Top Brands, Tuning, Bigger Intercoolers, Injectors, doing everything by the books and going the most expensive gear,
it does not feel like a totally different car, and it doesn't pull. At times I feel like I'm driving a stock car almost just like you sort of mentioned. Huge Letdown. All my tunes were "custom" aswell.
It's no doubt faster, but not $4000 Faster. If I were to do it all again, I would not waste my time or money, leave the car stock or just do a tune only and leave it at that.
If you want the car to go fast, put a larger turbo on it and then do all the Supporting Mods but don't bother spending more money on it otherwise.

mate I would be getting someone else to look at it, I spent $3500 on my stock fg ute and went 11.7, and was no comparison to stock, would light 3rd pretty easy still with the baby turbo on 98

I don't get this. My manual BF can be a damn handful off roundabouts in third. I know the factory dunlops (254/35/19) aren't that great as a tyre but they were new at the time of that "incident"

As for road performance, it is first class IMO - and got over a C63 Merc.. Dyno shows 288 RWKW at 5200 and 8000 NM of tractive effort at ~ 3200 on 98 octane in 4th.
