You can use the software to target specific areas for improvment without having to ajdust solinodes, regular servicing & a good cooler dose help.... We are now a dealer for Preston Automatics from Vic which have several 9 sec BA's with BTR 4 speeds in them !! & it also comes down to how your tuner set the pressures as well, just like the ZF's if there set incorrect & you dont get on it quick enough damage is done

we use Preston Automatic for the 4 speeds TCE for our convertors & we build ZF's inhouse now..

thanks

Joe

Transmission is plumbed directly to the PWR cooler mounted behind the front bar, behind the right hand fog lamp. Stock cooler within the radiator is just blocked off, not being utilised.

Thanks mate. Is there any way these can handle power while still retaining shift quality? Or can it shift normal in drive and then hard in performance mode?

to make it handle power you need to make it shift cleaner or firmer, as you want clutchers to engage & dis-enagage quickly & that's where the feel comes from plus it dosnt heat the box up as much..... sloppy or slow changers create heat, heat kills box's
