Ive read endless amounts of posts about this can anyone tell me if I can block the small vacuum line from my BOV and leave the rest as it is? or do I have to block it off all together? I will remove the BOV eventually just want to see what it sounds like in the meantime.

Because the spring inside the blow off valve that holds it closed... Won't be able to hold it closed without vacuum/pressure assisting it

Because the spring in the bov will let it creep open, thus leaking boost.

Edit beaten by twenty one.

If its a temporary thing just get 2 inch's of 3/4 round bar, remove blow off valve, replace with bar, block off vac line. Hey presto...

My standard blow off collapsed or something and I needed to get to work... Don't leave it for too long, do it properly

Even with standard boost there is some boost leak. that's what I found anyway. Coke bottle tops fit over the outlets on the crossover. Although the ridges need to be removed. Then place clamps over the bottle tops. Easier enough to block / unblock .

Cheers
