Hi all,

I have seen a few people get some decent numbers out of a ba/bf mk1....whats the limit of power/psi you can get from just a standard bottom end??...as I know the rods are not the strongest point of these early girls. I am guessing the tune will have to be pretty bang on

Only today I saw a ba with an inspection hole in the block/sump

Get a tuner with a good rep and don't aim too high and it will be sweet

The first one was an octane fg, lady driver heard a bad noise goin up a hill got it towed in and big hole, no6 rod let go, other one had signs of abuse, rubber in the guards etc but id say it was a faulty part that caused it
