Cause it needs a new gasket, a stud too. Short of pulling the turbo off down there it needs to be at home. But I guess I could get away with it

What size is the turbo manifold stud? One is completely gone... The one that bolts the rear housing to the log manifold

Ford didn't put a gasket in there, neither should you!

The turbo will stay on, just drive it home and get new studs/nuts. (some locking nuts, ideally, so it doesn't occur again).

The ones you want are M10x1.5 at the manifold end and M10x1.25 at the turbo side.

With these locking nuts ->

Why... that's anybody's guess... If I were to take a guess, I'd say the turbo flows fine without one and it wasn't worth the coin to put one in there.

It is indeed just a standard single opening T3 flange.

Just had a peek at mine, there is definitely something there, looks around 0.2/0.3mm thick, same as the turbo flange gasket (which looks a little black around some parts) so I might need to check the tension soon

Moving back on topic, WPMO, I still can't find any reason for only getting 3.7psi, no leaks, IC pipes are good and no codes.

My next step is too bypass the solenoid and technically that should lower the boost to 3psi, telling me the solenoid is working. Then I'm stumped

Thanks mate helps a lot. Any reason everyone just doesn't use 10x1.5mm threaded studs and a bolt to dodgy it up just to get her home?

The 1.25mm thread has a better clamping pressure and torque application due to the nut sitting slightly closer to the surface.
