Mate the system is set up to screw money out of people and they can prove you over parked.

Having said that wind em up and make it harder for them.

I was about five car lengths from the car Buf. They don't muck around in Richmond mate!

Here they often can't be arsed with issuing a physical ticket, just take a picture and send it later.

And have now started installing sensors in the parks so that if a meter expires and a vehicle is still in the park they are notified so they can come and fck you over ensure that the parking is being used efficiently.

Yeah we have electrically monitored bays in some suburbs here in WA...hardcore.

so the expense of installing and maintaining something like that in (however many) car parking bays is worth it?

Guess it must be coz I've never heard of a government department doing something that actually costs more than what they recoup these days

Adelaide airport now has green and red lights for each and every car park space which is pretty awesome

Maybe, it's handy though, you don't even have to drive up the Isle, just look for any green lights
