I pride myself on my ability to sit on the fence and drink beer on a weekend while I told the fellas installing my neighbours pool what they were doing wrong..

Even did that for free..

Lol - the last time before the root canal she (female this time) was doing an extraction - ended up pushing the tooth up into my sinuses.

Spent 6 months with a tooth rattling in behind my nose and a hole in my mouth I could draw air through with my mouth closed.

The the op to get it out - left me looking like the elephant man for another month.

Any wonder I hate dentists?

edit: and no - Blues through and through - still got all my front teeth :P

Dude you're not helping me get motivated to get my fillings fixed. Teeth don't hurt (as long as I avoid sugars and citrus.........), dentists cost money I'd rather spend on the car AND the sh!t hurts.

At least I don't have freeway tunnel between my jaw and sinuses though!

The longer you guys leave it, the worse it will get. Even if you get anesthetic, it is gonna hurt like hell.

That is what happened to my first root canal and crown. Had anesthetic and when they got to the nerve I almost hit the dentist.

He put medication in there to help reduce the swelling and then put a temporary filling.

2 weeks later went back and got a root canal done with no pain at alp thank goodness.

4 weeks later went and started the process of the crown.

I got 6 crowns now and it aint fun at all. I would have prefferedto spend that money on the car.

However if you take teeth out, pretty soon you will not have any teeth to chew with.

Turning 29 this year.. never had a filling..

Had a total of 8 teeth (4 normal and 4 wisdom) removed.. that's about my limit of painful dental procedures..

I had to have my lh rear lower molar removed a couple or years ago, after twently minutes of heaving by the dentist :wild: (whole was literally kneeling on the chair while two nurses held my head)

They sent for the "other dentist" (who looked remarkably like this guy) to come and tear it out.

He got it out and then in slightly broken english assured me that I would never have to worry about loosing a tooth in a fist fight as (in his words)

"jaw will break before tooth come out"

thanks!

I think??? :ermm:

Hahahahahaha awesome story Ralph.

They want to pull out my remaining 3 wisdom teeth (as well as the fillings I know I need). Already had 4 molars removed to let these things come in FFS. And have one root canal done from when I was a kid, redone a few years back.

$$$$$

I could buy a brand new surge and a set of ID1000s, plus get a ZF tune done and maybe a used plenum for the cost of all the quoted work!

4 wisdom.. And they removed 4 teeth before I got braces when I was in highschool..

Not sure if baby teeth or adult teeth..
