Yep time to start saving, I'll also keep an eye out for some fg cams or similar to chuck in too. Wasn't even a big skid, just got the revs too high and then it was all over.

Last week of getting up when I feel like it.

Back to day walking next week after 15 or so years of arfternoon shift, along with the last 5 guys from my machine shop crew. Only kind of good thing about it is a sideways promotion to the front office engineering department and becoming a dedicated desk jockey transfering all our drawings over to solidworks.

I draw squiggly lines on a computer that get transferred to a newer one of these:

and one of these:

to cut tools to run in these:

(Imagine the noise 30 of those make running at full capacity....)

Along with being chief ass kicker...until Friday...

Love it dags, ever thought about zf input shafts?

Almost makes me miss the machine shop, almost. Never had schmancy gear though, never even had metric cept the cross slide dial on one of the could be shifted to read metric. Used to love the dividing head for the miller, none of the other younger lads could do fractions or trig so I got to play on it a lot.

Pissing me off that new current crop of apprentices get pumped out and can't grind up a bit of tool steel and dont know what a shaper or a scraper is.
