Ye must admit... private hospitals here are more like "day surgery places" lol

Theres only a few decent ones...the two I mentioned... then another which is great but is linked to a public . hospital so u still have to go through public emerg.to get to the private part and the others are tbh all pretty dated and stuff. .. theres one good private place that does babies bur they dont have emerge... so its like your screwed either way :(

Oh not to mention all private hospitals are minimum 40kms away from our house so in a real emerg its not possible anyway... I chose to have bubs at a counrty hospital 10 mins away. .. most peopke think it is private coz of how small it is and its really good... howevr they dont have an emergency either its an after hours gp clinic thy can admit u through... the problem is they dont have a pathology dept or radiology dpt open throughout the night onky day so they will also transfer u if u need anything like that done anyway :(

If you want priority instead of camping in the emerg dept for hours, just call the ambos and get picked up

I could never do that freeze... unless I way litterally dying.. those blokes and ladies have enough stupid petty call outs as it is... they should be reserved for when someone's actually dying

Our hospital was about 50kms away fluff.. Just meant driving..

Might be different in Adelaide but it was honestly only 25-30minutes drive..

And I'd rather that I drove the wife straight there instead of taking her to the local public hospital and most likely having to wait for an ambulance to transfer her..

Same here Freeze but the ones near me are all terrible.

The closest one sent my old man home when he came off his bike without an x-ray (later found he had two fractured vertebrae). The next closest got my brother's collie's fracture wrong and had to rebreak his wrist to set it again the right way. The third is only good for it's childrens department.

Your talking about adelaide panda lol... we have no hwys etc so to get to the hospital I would have picked would take over an hour at night heaven forbid I went into labour during traffic peak lol

My hospital is great... its all midwives and the docs are a fantastic. .. also doesnt have a nursery so bubs even if sick ia kept with mum ... thwy do that on purpose also things like after my section they will put bubs straight on me just like a natural birth etc so there was a lot of thought put in... just sucks when I have a non pregnancy related problem lol

It's like school teachers.. They choose to go to uni to become them.. Buy there own choice mind you... Then complain they don't get enough pay..

12 weeks off a year,

Every weekend off,

3 breaks a day,

Farking total sooks.

Earning $75000+ a year or more.

My gf is a teacher. The amount of work my gf does outside work hours is crazy! I used to think the same as you until I lived with her. She makes resources/marks work all day on weekends sometimes. Plus has to reapply for her own job each year which stresses us both out really badly with mortgage etc

Think it depends on where ya work tbh... when I was at high school my teachers marked all work during lesson times and sh*t. ..

They were lazy fukrs... sayin that it was a private all girls college ... so male teachers spent all day wanking behind desk
