There's lots of things that fall into this category for everyone, but I would have to think that this would be up there for us all!

When I bought my car, I was told that everything had been fitted to the engine/driveline to cope with the extreme state of tune it was running (21psi and 612hp at the treads.... there was even dyno reports etc)

But on Thursday night, after fitting my new GTX3584 turbo and new injectors, and uploading a base tune to suit...I opened it up in 3rd gear, and instantly hit the limiter due to wheel spin.

And suddenly I watched my oil pressure gauge drop to zero.

I knew what the issue was as it dropped, but I took the oil line off the turbo and kicked it over for a microsecond and as expected... no oil flowed out.

Why do people insist on bullsh*tting about specs when selling a car?

I would have been happy to know that I needed to install billet gears etc, to prevent what could possibly be a complete rebuild.

I just can't understand why?

I had already agreed to buy it, before he spun a web of lies about components fitted.....

No idea mate, I had the same thing when buying my solar system. The sale was in the bag but the dude was bsing me so I went elsewhere.

That sucks about the broken oil pump. Hopefully you got it shut down quick enough to not hurt the bottom end. Open and check the oil filter for a few low interval oil changes to make sure the bearings aren't getting chewed up. You can order a billet pump with billet gears etc from hp junkie which makes life and fitting easy.
