WPMOT:

Cashflow

Every farking year

Seems like the person who writes the cheques spaces out as soon as December starts (because Xmas and holidays are coming) and doesn't switch back on til the Feb invoices start turning up (meaning March)

FFS - every farking year - 3 months with only a trickle incoming while the orders, bills, disbursements, outgoings don't stop.

Every order you make costs me money - paid for out of my pocket before I even invoice you.

For some reason this year - December, Jan and early Feb (so far) have been really, really good.

Heaps more orders than usual.

That's awesome - except... I haven't had any cash coming in since December :S

For some reason. this year - I've had heaps more work coming in than previous (which is fantastic and cashflow never really gets critical), but, for some reason - this year has hit the perfect storm

eg - 20 orders went out today - each costs me $500

That's $10k I have already paid for and have to fund and cover until they pay me for the order. (there's no "pay later" option for the disbursements)

I can handle that usually.

But for the months between start of December to start of March?

Usually, but this one has been busy - lots of orders, lots of disbursements.

Sorry for the rant - but WPMOT - you asked

Nice - from what I said above it's March that the money comes in, so I'm glad you ordered now, instead of ordering in early December,

Start or end of April?

Pay on statement or invoice? (it will affect the discount I give you on payment)

My cards are starting to be called in - and I haven't got the moolah to carry the wave

This is the last year I let product go out on spot over the xmas break

Glad I invested on security, guards and maintenance earlier in the year.

I may have to declare war on one of the other crews next move (it automatically puts the banks on hold)

Going to grab an overdraft to get me through it next time.

Only trouble is - if I have credit, I spend it :S
