No one should have to experience that type of suffering and death. I can't imagine what she must have went through and can't imagine how the family must be feeling.all I hope is they put that much time and effort into every missing/murder into every person, not just ones with a little profile behind them for working for the ABC. Sorry this happened to her but just hope 100% effort goes into other cases with 10pages of the paper and 20mins on every news channel every day since it happened. You might think its harsh what I say, but its true with all the exposure it recieved, now let them start Finding the...lets Find Donny and get him home, dude has been missing for weeks but no 10 page spreads and 20mins on news coverage every day.

I'm sure the police pursue all cases and unfortunately some cases have more evidence than others. In this case the police needed the media to help find the witnesses and eventually the killer. There's obviously more to this story as their yet to release information about how they actually identified this man. I honestly believe that the fact she worked for the ABC has little to do with the amount of air time the story has had. In any case, I'm happy for these stories to run around the clock if it means the police find the people committing these disgusting crimes. It's when it first happened 1 television news station? (Not abc) started with, ABC worker missing. Then it steam rolled, hope it does not happen to anyone here or there familiy members at all. Just hope the police and television channel can put 100% effort into all missing people cases.

Walked past a TV with Sunrise (I think) on it this morning and they had three different people 'live on the scene' rehashing the very little info that is actually in the public domain and otherwise generally making sh*t up. What benefit does crossing live to the street where she was last seen have? Or to the front of the courthouse four hours before it actually opens? Absolute fckin disgrace.

I'm far from a fan of the labour government or its ministers but the bloke deserves a bit of respect, he has served his country well for quite a while. And he actually reminded her that it wasn't a current affair or today tonight that he was on as she was trying to back him in to a corner and putting words in his mouth with a bit of good old fashioned gutter journalism. So yeah it's a friggin disgrace.
