Crawling around inside roofs suck. Especially in +30c. Haven't stripped a wire in over 20 years ( not really true I do minor stuff). I kept changing professions looking for the bucks. Finally cashed in............... Bet its a loose connection at the breaker , or 4mm for the circuit and 2.5mm from the main switch to the A/C breaker 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/81368-the-whats-piing-you-off-thread/page/1982/#findComment-1626398 Share on other sites

I say they have used 2.5mm and not a 6mm and a Amp that cant hod the power levels to run the A/C. Sparky said should run 42A. The wiring was too thin for the load and heated up and burnt. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/81368-the-whats-piing-you-off-thread/page/1982/#findComment-1626402 Share on other sites

Does the unit run the whole house. The large units are usually 3 phase.
