Guess what - it wasn't 

 

 

Also had this happen when I was a kid.  Was not worth the boobs.  I recall crying and gripping the chair arms white knuckle while smelling burning flesh.

been waiting all afternoon to take these pain killers, couldn't take them at work cos operating machinery.

They have well and truly kicked in, feels like I've just polished off half a dozen beers   :aaggl:

I had amalgam fillings replaced with the crappy white ones, just had to replace the first replacement 7 years later ( amalgam lasted 30 odd years ) , just a crappy alternative me thinks.

 

As for pain relief during the procedure, wait till the dentist has given the anesthetic jabs then as he stands beside you, gently cup his balls in the palm of your hand and look him in the eye and say " now doc, were not going to hurt each other , are we?" ....

Just turned 2 20 days ago Rab. I always worried about it but everyone said not to worry. Wife took him for his check up and they said he shows strong signs of autism. Testing and therapy next...
