Not pretending I am not a tight arse.. becauze I am.

But how many movies would you need to be seeing at the cinema for a 10 grand home theatre system to pay itself off?

I reckon my setup sounds better than cinema now. Plus add the amount of tv I watch and music I listen to on it and mines well played for itself over the last 5+ years. Not to mention you don't have to put pants, so that's a plus.

I'm not a music person so I didn't really consider that side of it.

The cinemas here suck that's why. . Last time I checked we had no thx certified ones in wa, I bet they are a lot better.

listening to a nice home theatre that you can't pick out individual speakers on is awesome.. just being fully immersed in the sound

My housemates are a bad influence...3 nights in a row of getting drunk, staying up late and talking smack. Admittedly, it's been great...bloody feeling it now though...
