And cheers Fluff, I didn't actually go in with expectations of leaving the night having found my soulmate, nor getting laid. In all honesty this is the first time I've started putting myself out there properly with the intention of actually wanting to find myself a girlfriend in the better part of 10yrs. I've only now finally gotten to the point where I'm comfortable enough with my mental and physical health to feel like I actually do want that. So I just turned up with the intention of having a fun night, which we did and she was genuinely a really nice girl...but as I said, pictures were misleading. And by that I don't mean she was ugly, coz she did have a beautiful face...but she was the same height as me and I dare say weighed more than I do. And I don't mean that in a judgmental way at all, especially with my history and where I've come from...but I guess that was what made me feel uncomfortable. She openly loved her food, to the point of literally saying the words "I'd have a bath in Nandos perinaise sauce if I could"...which I get, coz the stuff is awesome...but when I was the size I was there's no way I woulda said something like that. Like I said though, each their own and I'm not judging her because of it...I just don't feel it'd be healthy for me to be involved with someone like that, given how much an issue food has been for me previously.
