Gonna try and pull a swift on the place and say it crapped out a few weeks ago but I've been away for work.

Got all sound.. but no picture.

How old? If it's only a year you might still be able to claim it under warranty as it's died inside it's reasonably expected life, there is some new law about that.

Point of sale or manufacturers are also sometimes good at honouring it if it's only just expired too, give that a go!

Moving house is pissing me off! Firstly, coz I actually rather liked the house I've been living...but secondly coz moving is such a carnt of a thing! Especially the new place I'm moving into...it's like whoever designed/built it sat back and went "a little zig zag in the corridor on the way to the laundry will really piss people off...and just for good measure we should probably make sure the sliding door on the other end is very narrow, that'll really f*ck 'em!". Also finding out my super comfy electric recliner sofa I love so much is literally the heaviest object in the world...Oh my lawdy lawd! Also, 65" tv seems like a great idea...into you have to move it... Grrrrr, such a long and frustrating day yesterday, I ache in all the places!

Still gotta take the truck back this morning then clean out the kitchen, bathroom and throw all my loose cables and stuff in the car too...then come back and pressure clean the chit out of the path around the house (coz hand weeding/moss removal is for chumps). Then gotta go to the new place and setup my bedroom and theatre...

Can't wait till this is all over and I can just curl up and sleep. Legitimately considering selling all my stuff next time I have to move, then buy all new stuff and have it delivered...be much easier!

Yeah I've done the old hire truck before. sh*t idea. Way easier to pay removalists we found em on gumtree last time we moved, they were cheap as too.

Truck cost me $100 from a place in Kelmscott, got a fridge trolley, blankets and ropes included for that price and the excess dropped from $2,500 to $500 for $35...figured I didn't trust other carnts on the road with the weather yesterday...which also pissed me off! Rained every time we went to unload the truck.

How much did it cost you for the removalists Lennox? And what'd they do and how much stuff did you have to move?
