Where it will work fine on one person it could have the opposite affect one someone else. Also taking other medication at the same time could also affect how one works.Speak with your GP. "Captain Retard" Member 1,417 Member For: 10y 7m 16d Gender: Male Location: Shellharbour NSW Posted 07/06/15 09:26 AM Share Posted 07/06/15 09:26 AM I take a couple of Mersyndol(night) after nightshift, works for me.The Mersyndol combined with ear plugs, a ceiling fan and heavy drapes usually gives me about 6-7 hours sleep after a 12 hour shift.I wake up feeling a little heavy but that disappears quickly after a cup of tea.I've been doing 12hr shift work for the best part of 25 years now and this seems to be the best combo I've come up with and believe me, I've tried just about everything.Believe it or not I'm one of those people that really isn't suitable for working nights, it really screws with me.Luckily I only have to make it thru 3 nights and then I'm on roster days off.I've found the older I get, the harder it is to deal with nightshift.
