Yeah I will never sign up / give an actual cent to anybody who comes to my door

Why? Can't bring myself to trust them.

Especially when they start their spiel "Oh I don't need your details" "Not here for your money" bullsh*t.

Which soon turns into "can only sign you up and/or take donations today"

Same goes for people who ring up.

If it's a charity I want to support, then I ask them to send me a form and details in the post, and I can make a donation.

Only ones who have ever followed through and sent me a form were the rural firies and I was more than happy to deposit a donation

Copped a chip in the windscreen from a truck which pisses me off. However, very thankful at the same time it wasn't the paintwork that got hit.

Was a damn hard whack that's for sure. Hopefully they can just resin/repair it (it's out of sight, in the black area down low on passenger side), if not, $100 window excess for a brand new screen, is not so bad either.
