Sprinklers must be bore water or the piped water is crap... I've got water spots all over the car now. Servo squeegee couldn't even get it off the glass! Fingers crossed the Meguiars soap I use can do it.
BenDoCo I'm getten too old for this s**t Bronze Donating Members 4,509 Member For: 11y 8m 18d Gender: Male Location: A big bridge over a river in South Australia Posted 09/01/15 02:17 AM Share Posted 09/01/15 02:17 AM Addiction is weakness!Sorry Tex but I gotta 100% disagree on that comment. You see - I'm wired differently to most people.....or looking at it the other way, I'm wired the same way as (approx) 10% of the Aussie population and it is definitely not a weakness.A weakness wouldn't MAKE (and I really do mean ( in a worst case scenario ) FORCE) a person to snap someones neck just so they could steal their flagon coz going another hour without a drink is a torture of unspeakable measures --- Not that I ever did that --- but my addiction would if I thought that it would stop what was going on in my head or alleviate the physical ( sometimes debilitating) feelings.I have said before on this forum that everyone has an addiction to something - even if they don't realise it.Some addictions are good and others are not and it is my opinion that 'weakness' has nothing to do with whether a person suffers any ill-effect from not fulfilling the requirements of their "addiction".To finish on a positive note (even though this is the WPMOT thread) I'll tell you all about a friend of mine - for over 20 years. These days, with Internet Banking it is so easy to transfer money - even on a regular basis - automatically but a friend of mine (let's call him Brian) but Brian has written a cheque every single calendar month to the amount of $20 and sent it to a charity in NSW, - every single month for the last 30 plus years. He has told me that if he - personally - doesn't put the envelope in the Post Box during the first week of the month, he has these horrible feelings of dread and doom until he does.Again.......my opinion only here but I wouldn't call that a weakness. He has developed an addiction.Oh and by the way, just to show that I am qualified to speak of addictions ( #inb4somemuttgoogleseverythingtotryandproovemewrong)Hi, I'm Don and I'm ( etc. etc. )

More a coping mechanism.
