Stripes your aunty sounds like she was an inspirational, amazing person.

My condolences to Ralph, yourself and your respective families.

f*ck you cancer.

I had a scare recently, one of my nuts hurt for like 2 weeks, wasn't sure what was what, got it checked. Turns out I just twisted or something(wtf right???). Point is I was truly anxious and worried for that 2 weeks. If something doesn't feel right get it checked asap. You never know MAYBE something can be done if you get it early enough.

the point were you just say fark it. Every thing just gets you down and its hard to get back up. there is only so many things that can grind your gears before you snap. trying my hardest to get in front of everything but you get one step forward and end up going three steps back.

there are other people doing it tough like stripes and luke. by the way stripes your aunt by how you have explained her she sounded like a farking legend and a brilliant woman. sorry for your loss mate.

family is everything.

but as for me my family can be the thing that sends you over the edge. its the stress your supposed loved ones can put you under. doing my best I can to better myself for my wife and son but it just seems a waste of time.

aftet 13 months the smokes have come back. it seems the only way I can break.

I know im talking sh*t but its so hard to let my anger out. I find it hard to talk to family.

sorry for the long post. it would be so much easier to deal with if I didn't have so much to lose.

cheers

Hey bizkets..

Circumstances are sh*t at times.. Dunno what you're angry about mate.. But keep on keeping on whatever it takes..

My family is the same they always seem like the thing that pushes you over the edge when they should be the ones pulling you back!

If you need to chat mate.. Hit me up!

Cheers

Panda pants!

I feel for you with family troubles. My dear old mum drives me up the wall. Actually, she drives me to tears every now and then too. I long since lost patience for her telling me how I should live my life, I tell her to shut the f*ck up at a moment's notice when she over steps the boundaries. Not a great way to talk to your mum, I know... but there's a long history there. I feel I am mature enough to make my own decisions at 31 and live with any consequences, I don't want to know that she thinks I'm making a "huge mistake" with whatever I'm up to. She's a hard old bitch (not afraid of getting in a pub brawl in her younger days to give you some idea) and it's water off a duck's back, she says OK and the convo moves on without issue.

My main objection is her talking to me about any money decisions. She's broke as f*ck because she never got a career going and saved anything. Renting a place on the dole...and borrows money from me allllllllllllll the time. If the phone ever rings on the weekend you can bet it's her asking for sh*t, no one else calls except my girl and we're usually together. Makes me dread the ringtone on weekends. Then she wonders why I never call her. Can't visit as she's in Tassie (thank f*ck).

Well that was a rant. But hey, can't pick your family so you just gotta do what you gotta do to keep sane. Like dropping a skid up in to 3rd gear on a deserted private road on the way home, hahaha. :spiteful:

Hope all u karnts are all ok with Ya shat

Bizzy just do what u gotta do budy. Just remember no matter how much Ya family yanks Ya chain its Ya little one who will remember and know one day all the sacrifices u made for em.

Stever yor spot on mate

This is the one reason I can always justify having a fast or good to drive car

No matter how shat my day was I always seem to find a smile on the drive home, stress relief 101

Guess no matter who Ya are, everyone has issues, some worse than others. But the important part is having somewhere or someone to vent to. If that's ya wife or Ya mum or Ya mates then that's great, but imo sometimes an unbiased jury or forum goers who become friends overtime are just as valuable.

Once again hope is all ok lads

Fluff that was my dads philosophy..

He didn't care what he had to do for a living as long as he enjoyed driving there and back!

Funny how the thread regularly gets deep and meaningful, goes hand in hand with being pissed off apparently.

Biz: it happens man, they are karnts. I started again recently after 2 years. Was hiding it n sh*t. Missus was not happy. I got another champix prescription, works well. STAYING off them is the hard part. Families are stressful but I wouldn't trade mine for anything. Take the good with the bad, suck it up, all that gear. Unless something about it is making you genuinely unhappy like your relationship ect, which is different to stress. Stress is pretty normal.

Steve: that's mums....

Fluff: all us karnts will be ok with our shat lol. Kids wont remember sh*t, they will just want more. Well maybe eventually, its only now im hitting 30 I appreciate how great my dad is.

I can totally relate panda

I'm one of the only people who sees travel time a plus when looking at work lol

Just gives u a good head space, but of music, don't even mind if there's some traffic, just enjoying the drive is where it's at

Barnz I did mean when the kids were significantly older lol we're all just jerks when we're little hahh

I'm 23 and boy do I certainly appreciate my parents, especially since I was probably extremely lucky to end up being able to stay with them forever and have them as my mum and dad.

As I've realised over the last few years the alternative option for me probably would have made my life so much more different and not in a good way. Not everyone is meant to have children!
