I live with me missus and her parents and it has become rather testing the last week.

Her dad seems convinced if I leave the grinder out in the sun for 10min it will melt. Also that if I put 60lts e85 in the garage over the weekend for me tune on Monday the whole street will blow up, the earth will spin backwards and unicorns will appear. But Apparently parking my ute in the garage with a tank full of e85 is fine. And parking my work ute with gas on it (LPG, acetylene, oxy) outside the shed is fine. I think he has e85 confused with some sort of volatile space fuel that will combust if you look at it funny.

End rant lol

Speaking of grinders and e85 a guy I know was cutting off his exhaust with an angle grinder and saw some "water" dripping out, thought meh f*ck it and kept grinding. Once the exhaust was cut off, after millions of sparks etc he touched the watery substance and smelt it and realised it was e85

So it can't be too volatile :P still can't say id try that one

My step dad is a knuckle dragging anti e85er

I know your pain.

Went to my friends funeral this morning. She and her husband (and their families) went to church, so naturally I assumed there were going to be some references to the bible etc...but I swear the whole thing ended up more about god than my friend whom we were supposed to be there remembering and celebrating her life. There was even a sermon, which was about knowing whether you're going to heaven or hell when you die...annoyed me!

Devil's advocate (and somebody not willing to speak ill of the dead) but is it possible your friend had discussed and agreed upon the sermon before passing?

I'd imagine she did, yes...so respecting their wishes and all that...but still. I used to go to church with them when I was younger, so I get it...but from the perspective I have now it felt a little off is all.

Thanks guys, she really was an amazing person...hence I feel it would have been nice spending more time actually focusing on her rather than being preached at.
